The McDugald Steel project was certified Gold under the LEED 2009 for Commercial Interiors Certification. The project spanned 10,500 square feet over two separate two story buildings. The building achieved notable sustainability goals by implementing green housekeeping procedures, reducing irrigation water use by 61 percent and reducing potable water usage by 41 percent. Additionally, the project received LEED Innovation credit for its implementation of a Public Education program. GreeNexus was the LEED Project Administrator for this project, located in Houston, Texas.
