In 2018, GreeNexus has certified 15 buildings totaling over 1.1 million square feet of space! These certifications equal:
5.5 Olympic sized swimming pools in water savings per year.
Enough electricity to power 129.5 homes for a year.
1,280 Olympic sized swimming pools of waste that has been diverted from landfills
Recycled content has led to $5,987,427 invested towards reducing the embodied impacts of virgin material extraction.
An investment of $481,944 towards the preservation of forest ecosystems.

Over the past year, we have been expanding. We have added new team members: Shillpa Bansal and Becky Moriarty. Angela Bejarano, a long-time consultant with GreeNexus, has decided to rejoin our team. Rhiannon Johnson has also assumed a full-time position as our Operations Manager and Jaime Lawson and JB Mallay have been with us for 8 years now! We are truly grateful for our team’s hard work.
Amanda successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. This led to us developing our growth plan and defining our mission and vision. As a part of our growth plan, we have begun to expand our services. Amanda received her SITES AP and became a FITWEL Ambassador. Rhiannon earned her LEED Green Associate. In addition to our new credentials, we began a more tailored service approach for our clients offering a range of services from sustainability coaching to high performance design. We are excited about our new approach, as it allows us to better service our clients with all their sustainability needs.This holiday season, we wish you joy and cheer!
