Leadership in Energy and Environment Design
(LEED) Certification

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most commonly used green building rating system for all building types and all building phases including new construction, interior fit outs, operations and maintenance and core and shell. LEED certified buildings are a smart investment – efficient, profitable, healthy. With over 125 LEED certifications and recertifications, including a dozen Platinum, we can help you achieve your LEED goals, offering tailored approaches from basic coaching to full-service documentation. For more about LEED certification contact us or visit the USGBC website

FITWEL Certification

Fitwel (Center for Active Design (CfAD) in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) promotes optimal human health in buildings. Increasingly, Fitwel is paired with other certifications, such as LEED and WELL and is used as a framework for risk mitigation, and ESG Reporting. Our Fitwel Ambassadors can help your building target Fitwel strategies and optimize its occupants' well-being. Whether seeking Fitwel Certification or becoming a Fitwel Champion, we are here to guide your efforts. For more information, contact us or click here

Energy Modeling

Energy modeling, also known as building performance simulation, allows building owners to analyze their buildings’ performance before they are constructed - without incurring a great deal of cost. GreeNexus provides performance-based simulations that allow design teams, building owners, and certification agencies to accurately understand the predicted energy use of a building. By providing early energy model results, GreeNexus can help you leverage the design process to achieve your desired level of energy savings. Some of our specific building simulation services include compliance modeling for various codes and certification agencies, along with daylight simulation. For more information, please contact us

Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB)

The City of Austin has ambitious sustainability goals and pioneered the nation's first green rating system, Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB). Development within Austin often requires an AEGB rating. GreeNexus offers AEGB services, from basic coordination to documentation and liaising with the AEGB program. We simplify your AEGB experience, whether you seek one or two stars or aim for the highest five-star rating. For more about AEBG please contact us or visit the AEGB website.

Life Cycle Analysis

Comprehensive metrics are needed to fully engage and understand a building's impact from cradle to grave. GreeNexus provides this tool in a process known as whole building Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). LCA offers a menu of measures that can be taken to reduce said impacts and increase sustainability while still in the design phase. As a credit in LEED v4, one option in Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction seeks to reduce environmental impacts by a minimum of 10% through the use of LCA. GreeNexus is ready to take your project to the next level with an innovative LCA. For more information, contact us.
